A couple of lift pumps, VP44 crapped out...seal on tranny let go and pumped all the oil out, 1 tranny cooked up well done...cracked exhust manifold, fried A/C compressor, map sensor, power steering/brake pump went belly up...other than that I've had no problems in the 1 1/2 years I've owned the truck...unless you count all the things I haven't fixed yet...

If you guys would buy DMax's you wouldn't have any of these problems.
J/K...I've limped about 7 times before I got the Stage III kit and I've had the proverbial #2 & #7 injector harness problem and of course it happened when I was 200 miles from home at 2am. Fortunately its a fix you can do on the side of the road. OH, and I had to have my drivers seat replaced two weeks after I got the truck because the BCM fried due to a shorted wire under the seat. The biggest problem I've had with my truck is trying to get the defueling out of the tuning for the race track.

I'm with them....Dad has a Duramaxipad and we have owned two "Powerjokes" and when the man who has the Duramax tells ya that if he had it to do overwith and was wanting longevity as far as runnin the livin crap out of one, that he woulda bought a Cummins, 'nuff said. Granted, I have ran the heck out of every vehicle I have ever driven. I best be quiet, or atleast knock on wood, 'cause I could go out now and start er up and something go flyin off of it. Which then it would be like my powerchoker. Anyway, made my point, time for another high life......

Yeah my D-MAx has been a trouble free experience. Well, except a couple little things.

One AC control head unit (During summer in Texas)
3 sets of injectors
Cracked head
leaking injector cups
5 Allison builds. All to fix built trannies. (Ally doesn't like non defueled upshifts)

oh, almost forgot.

and this

But, I've broke my share of Dodge/Cummins parts too.

They just happened to take more abuse before it happened.
