Just about any type of thread sealant will work. Some popular brands of Teflon paste are Loctite PST, Swagelok SWAK...

But, just go to your parts store and ask for #2 Permatex - it will work just fine for you.

thanks again guys. we use both types of thread sealant at work. but i will stop by napa and get some #2 permatex tomorrow after work.

i have used both tape and paste, never had any problems. with the tape. just keep a few threads off the end. yeah dont want it getting onto the fuel system. and i was taught from a well known engine builder. my tape job is 3 years old with no problems... 80k .. just dont use too much of either and you should do fine.

i used tape for my pyro. i haven't any problems yet either

I would have went with Antisieze on the pyro.

On your pyro tap in the exhaust manifold?

I've used tape but it was before the filter so I not to worried about it....is the air dog pump after the filter?

the air dog is just like the fass setup as far as i know its before the filter. im installing it sunday and will take some pictures if i remember the camera

oops, i had a brain fart....
i ment on my boost gauge, not the pyro. i didn't use anything on my pyro
