Default Sport headlights on Non-Sport

Anyone out there have a set of the sport headlights on a non sport truck?
anyone done the conversion to get all 4 bulbs to work rather than the 2 stock bulbs?
I just got a set and want to put them on, just curious what it will look like.

Thanks!

Are you upgrading the wiring harness?

It is easier just to build your own! Use HELLA (or eq.) relays, fuses, wire and a direct connection to the + and - of the battery. You'll do fine.

As of right now i was just going to out them in and use them the way they are. I have always wanted to get the factory foglights too and would need the wiring harness at that point. I have a sport grille and bumper but not ready to paint them yet as i am looking for new doors for the truck. Figured i would paint everything all at once...

just curious if anyone had pics out there.

thanks for the replies.

I converted my 94.
Had to cut the area that the bulbs and reflector mount.
I also installed relays and 14 ga. wire at the same time.
Well worth the work and costs.

Just put them on my 98. Well worth it. The difference in lighting is incredible.

the wiring has to be a nightmare..

i bought some projector/led 4 bulb setups that were built for a non sport and cant get them to work right.. there is no highbeam... somethings wrong with it

i click on the highbeam and ya all 4 bulbs light up BUT my parking light is brighter .. they were prewired to be plug and play... hahah not.. dont even know where to start on getting them to work properly.. and i sold my stock ones..danget.

Thanks for the input guys! I cant wait to pick the truck up tomorrow out of storage and put these lights on.

Brad, I never looked at your lights close enough to notice you had done the conversion. They look great, and im glad to hear how the lighting improved.

Fred, thanks for the input as well, makes me want to get started right now.

Mobs - good luck figuring out your problem!

Here is a set I am looking at:

Site says they work on sport or non-sport trucks.
"To make this work properly, you need to swap the high beam and ground pins in the headlight harness plug, OR, you can cut the wire behind the plug and swap the connections there."
