Think I would use the stock housings (they look good) and a HID bulb kit...supposed to be a HUGE improvement.

At night, on the highway in my 98, I cant tell a difference if I turn the lights right off ! Gotta do something.

I have sport headlights and the britebox setup. light is awesome. I can't say enough good things about how well this setup works!!!!

If 10 was the highest on a scale i'd go with a 15!!

no, they didn't reply to either of two e-mails sent.

first e-mail was regarding the color spectrum of the HID, were they 6000s?
second question was concerning lowering the freight to a reasonable amount,
in one of the e-mails, i don't remember which, i asked for pics of the backs of the lights showing ballast install.

Dr. Evil,
correct me if i'm wrong, but were you interested in putting HID kits in aftermarket projector headlights??? you might read this!!

HID Guide to Aftermarket Projector Headlights

The most popular feature on today's aftermarket headlights is Projector Headlights. The biggest reason they are so popular is because most of the high-end carmakers like FERRARI, PORSCHE, LEXUS, BMW, MERCEDES and AUDI have projector headlights on their stock headlights.

But a very common MISTAKE people make when purchasing these aftermarket Projector headlights is that they think they would be able to put HID lighting kits into the aftermarket projector headlights. But in most cases this cannot be done.

For several reason:

Most aftermarket Projector headlights use a totally different size light bulbs than the one that come stock with your factory headlights.
Another mistake people make is they buy the correct HID size bulbs to work with the aftermarket lights, but in most cases, the aftermarket lights are not made to handle HIDs. HID bulbs are about twice the size of standard halogen bulbs, in length. So when you put them into most aftermarket projector lights, the bulbs will be right next to the projector lens. Which is known to cause the burning/ melting of the lens and completely ruining the housing of the headlights. And in some cases, the HID bulb will not even fit into the projector housing because the tip of the long bulb is hitting the back of the lens.
