Default steering box

can the rear seal of the steering box be relaced. mine is leaking like crazy, just pours out when engine is running. and i dont want the pump to run dry for very long or i'll be replacing it too. any help will be greatly appreciated

there is a seal kit for the steering box. i got it at the dealer a few years ago so i cant say the price but i dont think it was more then 30 bucks.

i saw that when i finally did a google search. about how long did it take to rebuild it?

for $189 you can get a new one at advanced auto with a lifetime warranty.

It is very labor intensive to rebuild one

i think it took about 2 hours to rebuild. it went pretty easy i think. the hardest part was getting the pitman arm off, after that it was a piece of cake.
