The surface of my 06's steering wheel is already starting to peal off especially when its humid out
Any one else have this problem? Any fixes? I dont like steering wheel covers, i had one on my 98 and it was too big. I was looking at maybe swapping in one out of a newer ram they looked to have a larger grip and possible heated option.

 

My 01 has done this for ever and like you said when it's humid it real bad. I've tried covers and hate them. I wrap mine now with some of that rubber electrical tape. New ones have heated steering wheel? Don't even go there Seats are nice but steering wheel You getting soft

 

Knew i would get that about the steering wheel im just sick of it being sticky and peeling off. The wife asked about the heated wheel the other day after seeing some chevy commercial .

 

That is the reason that mine has had a cover in it since new. But since you do not like the feel of the cover then I guess the only thing you can do is replace it.
