i got them from a guy on a local board here..... he randomly does group buys on his products.... his website is www.ledgauges.com if he dosen't have what you are looking for on his site send him an e-mail and see what he can get. mine are light blue but what i see is a nice bright white.... i'm thinking they are the 8K.... the guy's name is Nathan and he is real cool..... he is from Tallahassee FL and he warranties all his HID's for 1 year through HIM not the manufacture....

EDIT i also got the single beam kit as i was broke at the time...... i can't imagine a high and low beam this bright...... the dims i have now are way safer IMHO than anything i've ever had before...

Cool. I just ordered a set of clear bulb housings today...may have to add the HID's to them - Id probably spring for the low/hi beam HID's though..

Heres the new bulb housings:

cool.... the only beef i have with those ebay lights is they are made so cheap most of them won't support HID's..... not knockin' your stuff but i bought a set of projectors for my expedition and they said on the back do not use hid's in this housing..... so i sold them and bought a set of black chrome ones..... same thing there..... the black ones also aren't DOT approved..... they are for offroad use only.... no DOT SAE stamp on them.....

Really?...well crap.

I thoughs HID's used less power and were cooler than incandescents...wonder why you couldnt use HID's in them?

I may stal with the incandescent bulbs I guess....would be nice if they told you that BEFORE you bought them hey?

HID's use less power..... like going from an incandessent to those currly ones in a house..... but are buch brighter since the ballast converts the voltage to a highenough voltage to knock yer you know what in the dirt...... they are much hotter than an incandessent bulb...... i'd run them in there if it were me..... what's the worst that'll happen..... the plastic will melt.....
