Default SRW TO DRW stuff ??

I'm going to make my truck into a dually and was wondering if anybody has made their dually into a SRW?? If so I would be interested in the parts. Thanks in advance.

Default Pretty common

I have seen this alot. For the most part if all looked professionaly done. Not in terms of a shop doing it but in terms of specially built parts for the transformation. I'm not much help on it but I would say the hardest part is deciding on swaping the front and rear axles out of a dually to make it look the best. Maybe someone will be along shortly.

One thing to consider is that the DMV could possibly rate your truck for the higher weigh rating costing you extra for registration. I'm not trying to shoot you down but if you want it legal then..........you gotta pay to play.

I don't know about that, if it is titled as a 2500 then unless he reregisters it, I don't see how they could charge it as a 3500.

i'd just swap out the rear for a DRW rear making sure the gearing is the same and bolt the rears on..... leave the fronts the same as what you have now..... i like a meaty tire on the front of a dually especially a 4X4.....

Yea I would swap out just the back but the wheels would not match at all and I really like the look of the dually rear wheel. So I guess I will have to go with the dually fronts.

buy the "bullet hole" type wheel i think Eagle Alloys makes some that the 2500 styly wheel looks just like the 3500 style wheels...... just buy 2 3500 wheels and 2 2500 wheels and u'd be in business..... i'll try to find some pics.....
