Default Payload 01 3500

I made a trip today to pick up 72 50lb. bags of polymer concrete 540 mi. round trip and I'll tell you what the ride home with 3600lbs in the bed was much smoother than the ride to get it. What is the payload rating of a quad cab dually 3500, anyone know off the top of your head.
I'm thinking of keeping some in there for a while. It really does smooth the ride out

Look at the data plate in your drivers side door jam. Take the GVCW and subtract the GVW and the difference is the rated payload. Some trucks will tell you the payload weight but I don't think the Dodges do. All this info is only as good as my memory here and I haven't dealt in the trailer world for a few years now so no beatin me up if I'm remberin the Intials wrong here.

They always ride much better weighted down.

Man my truck is like that too. I've got helper bags in the back, and driving empty on a washboard road is SKETCHY...It's like busting broncos. I think I caught air a couple times . Even 300lbs in the bed makes a huge difference though.

No Doubt!! I have to wear my seatbelt so I don't end up a passenger in my own truck (by myself)
