yeah escept I sent my driveshaft in to get it fixed and they sold me a new one that was 4" too short. Time for another trip Its only an hour away.

 

They cut it twice and its still too short, just don't understand

 

thats like mine i had mine shortened after i did the 271 swap and it took him twice to do it correctly

 

Actually they just sold me a new driveshaft because mine messed up the DC joint pretty good. He must not have measured the old one and just sold me one for a 5 speed truck or something. I extended it all the way out and it was still and 1" short.

But I had some friends going that way and they dropped it off for me and then I ran up there and picked it up last night. It didn't cost much because I took my motorcycle. Though people give you funny looks when they see that strapped across the back

 

thats funny there was a guy hear that was driving around with a 12' pressure treated 4x4 on his bike the other day that was funny

 

wow, I've tried some dumb stuff on my bike but that surpasses anything I've ever considered! drive-thru bags of food sitting on the gas tank are common; My camouflage rifle bag that I carry my shotgun in gets some entertaining looks when I have it across my back; mostly paranoid looks of death-fear as if I'm going to go on a rampage on the freeway stupid californians.
