Default Boost Leak

If I had one, why would my boost gauge still read 30lbs?? Also, I'm running 700-850 running down the highway along with 10-15 lbs of boost.

I have seen some pretty good boost leaks that still net 30psi

750-800 is pretty normal EGTs going down the road

BUT.........10-15 psi boost on flat ground is odd

Intercooler is the new design. I managed to narrow it down to the boost bolt (lack of thread tape) and the intake horn gaskets. Buttholes didn't replace them when they did my injectors.

Damn leak tester leaked so much, it was hard to get an accurate test. I did replace the intake horn gaskets, and wrapped the bolts with some thread tape. It's still hitting 1200 too easy. I just reset the APPS, and I'm going to take some fine sandpaper after the EGT probe. If that doesn't do it, that leaves it down to some lying azz gauges.

APPS reset, cleaning the EGT probe, cleaning the wires down by the AC compressor. Neither did nothing.

So that leaves these possibilities:

lying gauges
faulty fca
faulty apps
timing

Or your old boots are wore out and swelling, just not leaking. When I replaced the stock hoses I though I broke my truck cause the boost pressure levels went down so much.
