What kind of shape is your current truck in? By the time you get a donor engine, Parts, any goodies and / or rebuilding kits for the engine or trans ... you can buy a 12 already in a wrapper .... for about the same money.

 

its not the greatest but im just trying to see all my options. i like the 2 gen body style but banks wont give out loans so for me its either find one cheap and rebuild it or swap my motor
