PROBLEM
my vacuum pump and power steering pump is leaking badly, ive got the new ones, but i cant seem to get the old one to release itself from the motor. is there any hints as to getting this damn thing out?

yes it did alot, thanks DM. my service manual doesnt say anything bout a bracket holding the pump to the block.
