Is it not 4 pulling just because of the flywheel? If so whats different about it?

Its not for pulling because SFI won't approve it. And most sanctioning bodies require an SFI slip that says the clutch is approved for pulling use. I know my SBC 3850 Puller DD has a slip, I just keep it in my glove box.

I think it has to do with containment. The clutch has to be able to hold all the pieces in when you are at 3500 Rpm at WOT.

I'm probably going to go with the SBC if I can gather the money quick enough.

I am not talking down on SBC!!

I am saying they have to be engineered for failure if it should ever happen. Like a scatter shield over an auto. You have to pay a little more for the engineering.

Point is, I SHOULD HAVE KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT!...

I just put a new south bend dual disk in my truck this past spring and i love it!! I have 6 pulls in it so far and its doing great! The only thing you wont like about this clutch is when u push in the clutch at lets say a stop light it will rattle and chatter, but its common iv asked several people about it and they have the same problem too.
