i was wondering if anyone knew that wattage on the block heaters on 06 cummins'. anyone running a timer on the power cords your using?

I have mine on a heavy duty timer & extension cord, comes on 2.5 hours before i leave for work.

 

yea, i got a 12 gauge 3 wire cord, and my dad plugs it in when he laeves for work around 5, then i start her around 6 and leave at 615 for work. so it doesnt get a whole lot of time. i just wnated to know the watts so i wouldnt burn up a regualr old household timer ya know.

 

Its best to get a 15 Amp outdoor type timer.
