Now GM might BUY Ford.. because they werent doing so well last year. Neither was Chrysler for that matter. But GM is in MUCH MORE than just automobiles. I cant see any of the Big 3 merging. Ever.
It would crumble my hopes and dreams of a GM only world!

now i can see them merging the way business has been going for them the last few years. It might be the only way they can survive,
i can see Ford or GM buying Chrysler before Ford and GM would merge. Chrysler is owned privately now and im not sure how much more the owner can take
