I would atleast get a good aftermarket Valve Body and a Torque Conveter.

Suncoast
ATS
BD

Those are just a few. Give me a call sometime and we can discuss your options.

how many miles on the trans and have you had any issues. if your trying to beef up a tranny with issues its not a good idea.

Transgo Shift Kit will help increase the pressure and give you firmer shifts. That and a good Single or Triple Disc Converter.

Lukes Diesel how often do you reccomend adjusting the bands 47re ? I have one with 140000 on it . I am the third owner an trucks never been pulled hard no goseneck . I pull small farm equipment ocasianally an general farm use . The truck just seems very mushy when it shifts under load an even empty for that matter . But it dozen't slip an will lockup
when it finnally gets to third . I have serviced it no metal in the pan . The trans shop talked me out of adjusting bands . I'm thinking we should have an maybe replaced the govenor . What say you as Bill Oriley would say ?
