When I was looking @ a 6.7 I talked to a tech about it and he said the ecms were the same and the plugs were the same? Sooo.....

 

I took my 04.5 HO CTD 6spd to the dealer today and asked him to enable the high idle. He talked to the tech and told me that feature was not available until 06

 

He's wrong! My brothers 04.5 has it. Try a different dealer. There going to argue with you about how the manuals don't have the feature because it's a safety issue and so forth. Just tell them to turn it on for you and you'll handle the rest.

 

will my early 04 manual work the same way?

 

 

jksmith from my understanding it must be a 2004.5 for this to work. if your truck doesnt fall into that category (i.e. mine) it wont work....
