Nice comparison on the installs.

I had the same issue on the AC line. I just used brute force and moved the line out of my way.

I didn't want to do a hack job on it. I get a little **** about how things are routed, especially wiring. I HATE exposed wiring.

That's what it's all about!

If the issues I ran into during the two installs helps out the next guy, then the time spent doing the write-up is well worth it.

It's not often that you can get a side by side comparison of two products of this type to accurately go by.

It's like anything else.....

One person may put someone on a pedestal and one person may say they're the scum of the Earth.

I can say that I've had no issue with the folks at ATS, other folks have.

I can say that I'm not happy with the folks at BD, other folks are.

Didn't have time to drive a 120 extra miles to find a place to work on a AC line. Not only that but with the snow we had most of the winter it was 4X4 only. Bending the line by hand was the only option.

I would have been pissed if the kit would have come with any wrong parts.

Didn't mean to imply you hacked it, sorry if that's the way it came across....

I evacuated the AC system and ran without it until I got the new line. On mine I couldn't physically bend it where it hit, it was pretty close to the connection and almost dead center of the wategate head, so the amount of bend would have pretty excessive.

Without posting prices and possibly stepping on anyones toes, the prices were competitive.

When I was looking at different setups, I found as close as $200 price difference.

When he was looking, he saw approx $400 price difference.
