P-pump is the ultimate answer to the 24 valve VP problems. Look at all the streetable 12v's out there. You just have to learn how to control your foot and adjust the pump to meet your requirements, either racing or daily driving. Granted its not going to be as simple as pushing the button on your edge comp, or even changing smarty softwares, but if you want your truck running down the road 365 days a year, a p-pump with a mechanical lift pump is the answer. Yes, virginia, if you're gonna do it, do it right and swap cams for the lift pump lobe at the same time as the p-pump.

i ran 2 cycle and half a quart of cetane boost in it this time, things style lopes alot at idle, maybe previous owner installed different cam or something else that could make it lope like it does, but it dynoed at 450 hp and 1172 ft lbs

I'd try adjusting the valves. When they did the injectors, unless you asked, they more then likely did not adjust them as you don't need to mess with the valve lash when replacing the injectors.
