its all in the math ... you high torque number would suggest that you make peak power quickly as opposed to your buddys 06

for a cummins it has been a rule of thumb for years, not sure why everyone says that like you found out and like I stated before the numbers I have seen have been all over the place also. I know dpc goes off torque not hp power, and my old 6.7 has almost put down 1500 torque spraying it of course which would have won or been second place at dpc in the past

the rule of thumb of trq to hp is....


HP = rpm x T/5252

nice numbers chad and no ur hp-tq numbers dont seem off for a load cell dyno. my truck laid down 433 and 1156 last time i was on the rollers.

exactly

Chad did they put a optical pick up on it for RPM? If not your TQ numbers are a computer guess because it did not have the PRM to do the math.
