think twice on what motor mounts you use aparently these arent rated for 450+hp

alot of guys use them for the cummins conversion there even used in the dodge 1st gen im gunna make some out of DOM tubing next

those welds definitely aren't looking too hot. Those are 1st gen isolators, but not set at the same angle as a 1st gen iirc.

What exactly are we looking at besides bad welds? Did you build the mounts yourself?

The rubber totally deformed is what your looking at. I'm gonna guess the weight and vibes killed them just as much as the hp did since they're pretty much crushed.

I had a 600 hp engine that used to snap mounts. I ended up using opposing chains, 12 of them...2 for each direction I was opposing movement
