You can't swap an old engine into a newer body, its illegal.

i wish but hey if i could pull some magical cash out my *** haha i would but.. i have stuff i always have to fix on my tractors...thats how i make my money...but your probobly one of those guys just like me that try to make due with what u have and have some fun on the side

Havn't you figured out yet, this guy is the higher authority on every discussion. What I don't understand is why someone with such supreme intelligence over us common morons is a Diesel tech by trade. I would think such a Genieus would be a Rocket Scientist or a Brain Surgeon, or something like that but then again how would I know since I have no Idea how to use my measly brain.

I'm one of those guys. Always gotta do with what you have. But I understand your priorities. Gotta fix what brings in the money first, then fix the toys. But since my truck serves as both it makes it really difficult.

All of you guys, quit your bickering! He didn't start this thread to ask "what are the laws on swapping motors" His question was if a 1st gen POWER STROKE motor will fit into his 93 IDI powered truck, which is not illegal seeing as the PSD wasn't made available until late 94.

haha i must be on the short bus haha im 15 years old and want to build a truck that will work...i could be one of those skater kids getting madd high on the streets ...no id rather work on my truck and do farm work
