what would be the ultimate diesel pickup for you?
I have 2 in mind.
First one would be a stock looking first gen Dodge 1 ton dually, 2wd, regular cab, long box. With a 24 valve cummins, p-pumped, twin turbos, etc. With an NV5600 and a dana 80. leather seats and interior parts out of a newer Dodge.
Second one is a bit crazy. 2nd gen dodge, most likely a 1 ton. Somehow stretch the front frame rails, fenders, and hood. Beef everything up, and put a 3406B Caterpillar, and an Eaton/Fuller 13 speed in it. I hope I can do this some day. Maybe make a fiberglass flip front end for it?

i think a 1st gen crew cab body and 10ft flatbed on a dodge 5500 4x4 frame & axles. powered by a twin turbo 12v backed by a 10 spd road ranger. throw some water/meth and propane in there.
I'm building it right now...
1947 Ford 1.5 ton dually
Cummins P Pump 6BT 12V
Eaton Fuller Roadranger 10 speed
Air suspension in all 4 corners
Hydroboosted disc brakes in all four corners
Parallel 4 link out back
independent up front
