Just another Fummins with lots of pics!
Ok so I started out with a 1991 F 350 7.3L zf-5 truck.
Pulled the front clip

Pulling the piece of crap idi

Yay new powerplant

I scored like no other with this non 53 block 01 24v. 100k miles, turbo, radiator, intercooler, boost tubes, wiring, computer, and hydroboost for $1650!

Stripped of wiring and cleaned up somewhat

Getting ready to start the fabwork

All cut out

Setting it in for mock up and days of staring

Firewall clearance

All tacked in

Made the mounts out of 1/4'' plate, and the crossmember tubing is 1 3/4" DOM tubing, but what ever it was, had a higher rating than normal because it was tough on my bender.

All welded up and re-plated the passenger side inner frame rail

Driverside all welded up

Driverside top of framerail

Primered shows up a little better

After an hour of wrestling it in by myself

Need to tack a piece of scrap to hold the front of the engine up so I can roll the truck around.

Crossmember to oil pan clearance

Sits pretty low

Tomorrow I'm planning to start mounting the Dodge radiator and intercooler and adapt the front of the frame to hold it. By having the engine a few inches forward than normal, I'll have to do some trimming on the Ford core support and grill.
Or I'll just build a tube core support and make it work
Plans for the rest of the build is an NV5600, south bend con ofe clutch and flywheel, BW 13-56 t-case, FASS 95gph, 100-150hp injectors, Adrenaline w/pulse control which will save me on having a bunch of gauges, putting brand new Dodge hydraulics in for the slave, eventually putting twins in whether it be on my own or in a kit, o-ringing the head, head studs, blending the dodge gauge cluster into my Fords dash, reusing my 4'' exhaust, new white paint with pearl, new glass all around, and installing my 2nd gen Dodge seats too.
Any comments, advice, feedback is gladly WANTED/needed.
