has any one ever heard of putting a powerstroke into a newer chevy? let alone a suburban? I have both of the trucks. the burb is a 4x4 and the ford is 2wd. does any one know of any kits out there? both are auto trans.any help would be great.

 

Cant say I've heard of that combination before. You may try to contact a transmission adapter company (one listed below) and see if they could make a custom plate for the project.

That sounds like it would be a big project. I have seen a duramax in a 3/4 ton suburban but not a powerstroke. You'll have to find an adapter from the powerstroke to the 4l80e.
