Well gang got a lucky score today that needs some slight amount of work to work out nice for my truck. My brother got me an 07 allison with a damaged bellhousing plus a new case for 500 bucks.... I am also working on getting the trans harness and computer together atm.. So with a little work will have a nice trans to put behind my cummins. Question for yall any one install a cumminis like I am doing in this early a truck? I needing onfo on clearance to the firewall and readiator?

sounds like u got one heck of a project on ur hands. should turn out good. maybe someone who has done one will see this and post up. sorry i aint much help, not done one myself. good luck

 

I haven't personally done one, but I have seen pics from on another site where a guy put his 65 chevy body on a 1st gen dodge cummins. If I remember correctly, the firewall area was fine and it actually had a lot of room in there. I will try to find the thread and post it for you.
