Diesel Mud Buggy
I have seen diesel buggy's, Like the one featured in this months Diesel Power, and I would like to do something similar for on road purposes. Does anyone have any information on smaller turbo diesel engines? I think that the 4bt will be too large. I am looking at a sand rail frame and going from there. I would appreciate the help and any advice. Maybe a small cummins?
Also has anyone used the 2.4l common rail Land rover 122hp diesel? I really would like to get one into the states, but that doesnt look like it will ever happen. Maybe someone has done a swap?

I believe Nissan had smaller diesels in the older international scouts and stuff.
The vw diesels are nice because they are small light weight and can make good power.
Mercedes makes smaller diesel engines also
