i have a 91 w250 with a cummins and a 92 150 with a gasser. My plans were to swap the motor trans and rears out of the 250 and put them in the lil shortbox 150?? I was just thinkin that i could use the crossmembers out of the 250 and just bolt them in the other. Same with the suspension. I theory in sounds really easy. What do you guys think????

 

that would be alot of work, and the 150 frame is weaker, not made for diesel.

 

i dont think youll have any problems with the frame. but you are right its alot of work. But i would be more worried about the 250's frame then the 150 since its rotted to death.

 

The F-150 frames are about half the size of the F-250 frames. I would try to find another F-250 frame and shorten it personally if the F-250 frame you have is really rusty.

 

its not a ford its a dodge. and if you look at them the frame doesnt look much different. Ive seen a couple 1500's with cummins in them. You have a corvette with one.
