Mits. 4D56TD Swap
I'm swapping in a Mits. 4D56TD eng (1993-1998 Pajero???), manual trans and transfer case into a 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4. The eng. was bought on ebay I guess and sent to my shop by a out of state customer for the swap. The seller is not help'in. This was supposed ta drop right in LOL.
I need a starter for this as the org. was lost in shipping. Where can I buy one??? I ran out of places to look on the web.
I also need some info on the fuel injection pump. Looks to be setup for computer controls. It looks like it has a TPS on the throttle and 2 solenoids on the pump, a single wire on the rear of the pump ( guess'in this is fuel shut off) and a 2 wire on the eng. side of the pump. What needs to be hooked up to run here???? And what do the solenoids do?
Also where do I hookup the eng. vacuums for the turbo waste gate and such???
