I don't see anyone speaking about the V6 3.0 cdi from a Grand Cherokee swapped into a wrangler. Its an aluminum block so its probably lighter then the stock strait 6 or v6 depending on the model jeep you have. I am personally looking for people who have swapped that engine in a current model JK Unlimited.

 

for a jeep i would go with a 4bt that swap has been done alot. there are several jeeps running around my area with that swap. there is a jeep place near me that does the swap. Jeff Daniel’s Jeeps

 

Ive seen a really clean Cummins 6AT in an FJ40. Its a smaller inline 6, not the big 6BT. Not hard to find them with an adapter than mates them with chevy drivetrains. Or they might bolt right up, I dont remember. And they can be tuned up pretty easy.
