Got the motor set in and the front mounts made just need to be welded waiting on

What are you doing about a oil pan. Will you be completely cutting the crossmember out and gabbing a new one?

What happened to the older s-10? I like the mounts too, just a thought though. the vertical space for the mount does not leave much room for a mount change if you don't like your mounts ride qualities. an easy fix to raise the platform on the engine side before you get to far along. you can always add spacers to a low profile mount.
I am on my 3rd set of rubber mounts, I did not build in enough room to use the ford mounts most people like. I did try a special 4cyl diesel low profile rubber mount, and what a horrible racket they made. 1st set was a mb mount, a little too soft, then the hard as rock low profile mounts, Now I am using a transmission mount, they are pretty good. thanks for the updates, and nice pictures |
