I think It could be good for a kubota. I kick around the escape idea but the 2001 escape 5speed we had was geared with 3.90 I think it would tach 3000 at 65

2500 is about 65 in my '08 Escape 5 speed... although the 4WD version makes me think about using something like a Thunderbird IRS. It's rear steer though so you've got a rack about where an oil pan should be.

If you don't. Mind my asking how much did the custom converter set you back? I was quoted over a thousand. Dollars. For the aw4 in my jeep, then some one said they could do one fot 400$, but then i went another direction and used a stock converter

Well I got the aod in today I got real lucky the trans mount from the 5r55e fit the aod and the trans fit with the existing cross member! It's a tight fit but it fits. Ill need to clearance the trans tunnel just a little but I have enough room to use the sae to small block ford adapter from Phoenix. I have 2 inches to spare.

today turned out to be an expensive day, I managed to break one of my injectors while removing it from the head, it was seized in place. I did some calling around and detroit wanted $185 each, seattle injector quoted me $135 each if I bought 4. We popped tested the old ones and found 100bar difference so $540 for 4 new injectors.
