can anyone tell me the main differences between the v2203 and the v2403? just displacement? There is a non-turbo v2403 for sale local to me, it hydrolocked and bent a rod. It is out of a 48HP kubota tractor

they look like roughly the same external dimensions, but are the block bolt patterns, etc the same?

 

For those of you that used the Isuzu NPR alternator/vacuum pump, is that pump strong enough to run the brake booster and HVAC together without a vacuum reservoir? How did you connect the different lines together? And are check valves necessary?

 

I used a t fitting for the hvac and I didn't need a reservoir. I had a check valve inline to the brake booster and I left it in place.

Random question concerning the intercooler. Would it be possible to stick the intercooler behind the radiator and in front of the fan? I have tons of space between the motor and the radiator, but I can't stick the intercooler in front without chopping up the core support.

 

It would pull heat from the radiator you want cool. As cool as possible. You could always move the radiator back if you need more space

The absolute best is for it to be first, however my intercooler is behind the condenser and it works just fine.

 

Where is everyone putting the turbo oil drain and vacuum pump oil drain? The oil in the pan goes up to the top so I wouldn't feel totally safe draining straight into the oil pan.
