I am actually from Missouri. But mines been on the road for a while just not quite up to par yet. my turbo went out today so ill be switching to the ko3-005 thanks to Rangemars new findings

 

I talked to sam at Leonard's diesel today he's trying to source some injector nozzles for me. I have a friend at ddp in monroe who will extrude hone them = better atomazation = less smoke cleaner burn more effeciant more power.
Also calling all v2203 swaps. Sam would like pics of the underside in the vehical.he thinks he can get some vented aluminum rear sump pans that will fit most but befor he orders a bunch of the he wants to see how there fitting in the swaps. So any pics of the undercarriage with the oil pan in the shoot would be greatly appreciated. Jeeps toyotas ,ill have my 99 4x4 ranger maybe redveloce ? Fte ? Any and all would be appreciated

 

Hey Rangmar. Did you or Sam look into injectors from a bigger or Turbo'd Kubota. I was thinking that maybe the injectors from one of the turbo'd 4cyl Kubota's like a 1903T, or 2403T might flow more fuel than the stock 2203NA injectors? Also I talked briefly with Sam about Piston oil squirters. I saw on the Orangetractor forum that a guy had added his own piston oil squirters. But he was working with a smaller engine.

I have no desire so move any more fuel. This motor could easily burn itself up if the fuel is turned to high. Just trying to maximize fuel economy. Oil squirters might be a good idea for the future

Mpg update. 375 Miles x 1.08 for the tires is 405 divide my 10.2 gallons. 39.7 MPG

 

Keeping up with trafic is not an issue, in fact you have more power than needed (provided it is set up properly) I have talked to many having trouble getting similar results as Rangemar and I, but find that most often it is due to something small, like clogged fuel filter,the bleeder valve open,sucking air in the fuel,throttle linkage binding up,restrictive intercooler/pipes,etc. This is all uncharted territory, so in time we should all get it figured out.

 

I thought some of the people on here might want to see what these sound like when there done. Here's a video I took today
