just curious Jester what did you spend on your gauge. I got mine for $159.
I do not know how you did that. But good going. I got this one for $172.49 shipped. All I could find was a $10.00 off coupon that would work.

Using it as an Air Temp is a pretty neat idea if it works and holds up.

As for the EGT sender do you mean in the Kubota factory exhaust manifold?

You can put it in the manifold or the adapter, it just needs to be before the turbo to get acurate readings. I think some are also using the temp for oil as well. I don't have the glowshift, I have an autometer EGT.

I thought it would be very nice to have charge air temp. The jeep has Intake air temp as part of its OBD stuff. you can see the IAT with a scan tool. I am going to try and keep that working. I have my doubts.
This summer I thought I was doing pretty good with an IAT at 138-Deg F. I think the lowest I have seen is 118.
You guys up North have a whole different set of issues.
my weather station will show a heat index on my front porch between 146-154 DegF in the summer.

Yes it get a Tad Warm and Humid in South TEXAS.

If I have room I may install an extra windshield washer bottle and put a couple of sprayers on the Inter Cooler. As they made a 1 Gallon Canadian Washer Bottle for the Mazda Trucks. I guess it is very dirty in Canada.

no idea if it will work. It looks OK. the gauge is reading 29# of boost just sitting there. I am hoping that is normal because of lack of electricity. Heck I won't know if it works until I put it in the jeep, and that could be who knows when.. I took the day off from working in the shop for some clean up and to prep the POS jeep to go the the dump.

more on my thread later.

Glad to hear it is in one piece. Sorry I do not trust any Postal Service. To many personal Horror stories. Not to mention one Custom Ordered Rifle barrel that I received BENT. They have to work at it to Bend a Bull Barrel.

Kudos to them for bending a bull barrel, they must have actually tried to bend that, by setting it over a pothole then running it over with a truck. Excited to see your project unfold! Hopefully Ill be doing this in my ranger soon.

Well I do not have much to report at this time. But with the help of Rangemar and DieselXJ I purchased a Isuzu Alternator/Vacuum pump combo.

And this evening I decided for an oil fill to tap the valve cover and use a AN fitting with a cap. I will post a picture when completed.
