That sounds like a heck of a plan! My dad happens to own an 82 Chevy Scottsdale 4x4 manual (86ed the Dodge tranny, replaced w/ a muncie) w/ a 6.2l diesel. Needs new head gaskets but he would like it a whole lot better if I replaced w/ a 12v Cummins. Would be killer. Hopefully the 1/2 ton can hold her up.
