Default 7.3 powerstroke keeps dieing

im on site right now and cant take it to the mechanic until tomorrow so imma try to see if i can figure it out an idea of whats wrong. my 2001 automatic 7.3 powerstroke will turn on just fine and run but 5 minutes later it will die for no reason starts right up again and does the same thing. i use it for construction if that helps. oil changed 1,200 miles ago help please

I would check your oil level 1st, after that maybe CPS. Does your tach go up when you crank it over? Any smoke out exhaust? Cold weather?

I would check the fuel filter, some of the fuel out there is pretty bad and the filter on that engine will plug pretty easy.

MODS CAN LOCK UP

Its was the fuel filter
