Need some help with this truck died while I was driving it and wouldn't start again it shot codes where the odometer is the codes where 0462 and 0463 and 0122 and 1693 if anyone can help I would be greatfull

 

P0122 is a TPS code and i'm gonna say thats your problem, 0462/0463 are fuel level sending unit codes...does your guage work? and 1693 means you need to hook it to a good scan tool because it has another code

 

Yea the gauge works and the book I got says that this truck doesn't have a TPS on the manuals wat is it calling the sending unit I put a new fuel module in but don't have power to the plug I don't have a clue wats wrong

 

yes it does have a TPS its inside that box that is held onto the head with 3-13mm bolts and there is a plug on the bottom side

 

So its up by the where the throttle cable is mounted on the block and if I buy a scan tool and clear all the codes and it throws the same code that's probly wat it is

 

yeah i'm gonna say with those codes and it being dead that is the problem

 

So I bought a code reader today and cleared the codes and now its throwing 0251 0252 1688 wat do I do now

 

1688 - "Internal Fuel Injection Pump Controller Failure"

could be new vp44 time

clear them again and see if it comes back if so its time for a pump
