I'm not sure of the codes. The shop coded it for me and told me it was the ipr valve. They put it in for me and $733 dollars later it still did it. So I put a fuel pump in and cam sensor and it still does it. I don't know what to try next.

Well
It could be an ICP sensor causing that and I have also seen a trans range sensor do that also. Really need to know what the codes were.

Thanks for the help. I will have to wait till Dec 27th so I can talk to the shop about the codes. I didn't write them down because I was sure they fixed it. It ran good for about 2 hous, then I could notice it pulsing or surging again. It even stalled when I came up to a stop sign.

I'm not much of mechanic. I can take stuff apart and put together, but to know exactly what they do is not my specialty. My truck has 340,000 miles on it and I haven't had to do too much to it.

You may want to clean out the screen on the fuel pressure regulator. A friend's 94 was doing something similar, and cleaning out the fuel bowl, changing the filter, and cleaning the fpr screen helped.

I changed my fuel filter and noticed that the heater under the filter that the element on it was only hanging on by a thread. I attempted to solder it, would that cause any trouble? The screen on the fpr, where is it?
