Hard STart and white smoke at start up - even when warm

ok so drove my truck to my inlaws yesterday and everything is dandy. Go to leave and when I start up i have a bit of a knock/ rough idle for maybe 5 seconds and TONS of white smoke. Did it again when i got home and tried again. Ran just fine all the way home. Pulled the smarty out and still did the rough start/idle just not as bad but with less white smoke. I pulled the codes and got the P0602 or something close to that(codes are wrote sown at home). It was about the fueling With non stock software. No

. Cleard the codes and still the same problem. Where should I start??

I would start with the fuel control actuator on the cp3 make sure it is plugged in good if it is unplugged it will default to max rail pressure and over fuel...also if you have a pressure box take that off it could also be that the fca is sticking I have seen that a few times
