Dont feel bad man I cant get mine to run right either. Mine will only start on the crack can which aint good at all. Now it wont even let me scan for codes.

Hey guess what, I was able to pull codes and I pulled that code and 1698.

P1689-NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ECM & INJECTION PUMP MODULE (OBD II)

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Fuel inj pump ground circuit open or high resistance
Fuel pump control module harness observable defect
Datalink (+) circuit open
Datalink (+) circuit short to ground
Datalink (-) circuit open
Datalink (-) circuit short to ground
Engine Control Module

P1698-NO BUS MESSAGES RECEIVED FROM PCM

POSSIBLE CAUSES
CCD bus (+) circuit open
CCD bus (-) circuit open
PCM ground circuit open
Powertrain control module

Well, I have not had any more problems. I just wanted to update this thread so someone else might get some benefit. I did swap the fuel system relay under the hood with another to rule that out, charge the batteries to be absolutely sure they had a good charge, and cleaned and tightened the terminals. I have run a Smarty on it, and I tapped the pump wire on my Comp. We will see if the problems resurface now that the Comp is on properly.
