I am attempting to replace the igntion switch on my truck (82' 6.2L Chevy), I have done everything as required accept, take note of where the L shaped contact rod that comes from the key ignition inserts into the switch. I would appreciate it if someone could guide me as to where this thing belongs? Thank you...one more thing while I am on the ignition switch issue. Is it possible to put a keyless remote start on a diesel? Curiosity is killing me, but am assuming it wouldn't be to beneficial to do so.
