Default Dealer said my injectors are bad

I need some help. About a month ago I put some bad fuel in truck. My check engine light come on and had loss of power. This I thought would be a rutine change fillter light goes off and back in buss. Wrong, took to dealer and said my out pressure was low cause my tips on injectors were bad. They wanted $3,500 to fix. Not able to pay that I decided to put new tips on my injectors. As you can see it hasn't helped I'm seeking help. Oh yea today I pulled the fuel pressure Reg. and somewhat tested it on the bench it does open and close.

Doesn't your LB7 have a 200,000 mile warranty on the injectors ??

If any dirt or particles were in the fuel along with whatever else contaiminated it then it may be an issue with the pump possibly I havent done a lot of work to the dmax's but on other vehicles you lose just two pounds of fuel pressure off the pump and you will notice a huge difference and the pumps can be really sensitive. Like I said im not an expert but its just something ive seen

I don't know about the dmax and fords, but dodge fuel filters have always seemed somewhat lacking to me. I think they finally started using a decent one on the 6.7's. You can never be sure what's coming out the nozzle when you start filling up, and with injector prices soaring ever higher, custom fuel filtering solutions are called for.

JMHO.

Did you get them tested when you put new nozzles on them?
