might pull injector's and inspect for signs of coolant if so kinda sounds as though your on the right track. if no signs try loosening all rocker's so no valve actuation and see if it turns. good luck hope its not worse than H G

B-series cummins like to lose injectors, in my opinion, your best bet to get you started if you think your engine may be locked up is to find a mechanic that has access to a bore scope and check to see that all pistons will pass a quick visual inspection, Pulling the head will accomplish this also but at the cost of a headgasket and a few beads of sweat. If all of your pistons appear to be in functional condition, you may be able to find metal particles in your oilpan, possibly only by draining your oil, or by completely dropping the pan and checking for any more serious problems that may have come from weakened fasteners or oil starvation.

In short, if the motor will not rotate at all manually, I tend to think the worst. Check your oil/pan for metal of any sort, if you can drop the pan, you can visually spot any type of rod or fastener issues, and can see how much play there are in the rod caps to check for some bearing issues.

Any more information you can find out would be helpful, I will check back here soon.

Default Locked Up????

I have run across 12 valves in the past that had pumps replaced and the nut over tightened causing a break in the drive gear locking up the eng causing the crank gear to shear the dowel pin throwing timing off don't know if that is your problem but worth checking out just pull out the oil fill and look for anything out of place
