Already did that within a couple weeks of when I bought it. I just need money for a pyro gauge before I turn the pump up more, I turned it up one flat and I noticed a difference at that. I couldn't even get to smoke when gettin on her with it stock, now with it up 1 flat I get a little bit of smoke, its more like a haze, when I get on her. Its a stick so I'm getting to learn how to drive all over again, I can drive it just about anywhere now but still need to learn how to do the fun stuff I love downshifting it though, I get the jake brake sound

mine was auto.. blah RIP ford. it got hit and flipped.. but I did have some fun with it.

I did what everyone else around here did.. turn the pump all the way, then back off half a turn, ran great for a year, no overwhelming smoke in normal driving, but if I loaded it down good it would smoke pretty good, the motors are easy to overheat but I can't say i've ever seen any problems (no towing) on the trucks up this high. there was one guy who did some pump work and had the fuel up high enough to haze quite a bit at idle and he did eventually wash the cyl's

That sucks. I read somewhere that if the fuel is turned up too high, that you could burn holes in the pistons and I'd rather be safe then sorry so before turning it up more, I'll get a pyro. But I don't think I'm going to be doing too much more work on adding power on it since I got a guy that's trying to fix and sell his little nissan pickup so he can buy my truck and hopefully he can soon cuz I'd like to get into something that I can actually get some power out of. I might actually back the pump down for him since he wants the mileage that these can get. He works oilfield and drives from SW Wyoming the ND for work.

Got the new lines on but still have 2 leaks. Caps are on tight, orings are on right, hose is tight. the only other thing I could think of is bad injectors?

2 leaks where? on the new caps, the fuel line, or the base of the injector?

One is the front injector on the passenger side and the other is back one on the driver side. They seem to be leaking from the caps, but the front one might be leaking from the base of the injector, I'll have to check it more closely. The back one seems to be leaking from the top of the cap.

make sure the injector line is tight, and that you didn't get any dirt or anything in it when you installed everything, it's fairly high pressure going through there.

I've been driving the truck the past few days quite a bit and have noticed that its way better then before. Not one single issue with anything since I changed the fuel filter and return lines. I still need to check out the leaks, though.
