1998 diesel 1 ton 4x4 ..I was driving along truck just died.. Resart it as soon as i gave it gas it died ,start it again it would idel fine then as soon as i gave it gas died again.. Changed the fuel pump and filter..Next day drove it for a mile ran fine shut it off came back 10min later started it went to give it gas same thing died.. Would the injector pump cause this or the PMD..

I would say its the injection pump. If it will let you rev the engine to 2000 rpm hold it there for a little and slowly back of the throttle it should slow down smoothly if it doesn't then you have a bad pump.
