04 F-250 w/oil in the coolant
hello every1 I had a 6.0 come in the shop 2day running on its last legs my boss scanned it had me put #4 inj. in it when I refilled the cooling sys. noticed all the thick lite brown sludge in the tank,he says its head gaskets
is there anywhere else the oil could be getting in there. Oil cooler? Timming case? Intake? There is no anti frz. in the oil,no sighs of any when I put the inj. in it.I put a EGR cooler bypass on it last yr. also boss put a tuner on it but I dont know which 1 or what level.I'd hate to pull the heads if not needed. Please help

Well I tore it down 2day no clue about the oil in the radiator cause the gaskets looked fine, but I did figure out why it was running so badly as I found a small screw wedged under one of the #4 intake valves. Have no idea where it came from. With no water in the oil I'm thinking there must be a leak on the hi presure side forceing the oil into the cooling sys. Is it maybe a bad gasket on the oil cooler or maybe the cooler itself has a interal leak?
