Hey now got a water leak in front of intake i bought new gasket looks like inj pump might have to come off I have intake off now any help? if i have to take pump off will i have to retime or can i put back if the motor or pump is not turned. Hey also i got ajob to go to now my trucks got a runny nose THANKS REDDOG

 

How did you get the manifold off without taking the IP off? If your careful then you can take the pump off then put it back on and it will run, but the truck could probably use a good timing, from what I've herd these engines will change timing due to different ceataine(sp) levels (not point of injection, but point of burn).

 

just loosend the lines and took the bolts out takes 15 mins looks like the intake gasket-valley pan can be replaced without pump takeoff thanks anyone else have tips on this intake manifold gasket replace on 6.9 ?
