Got in my truck and turned the key on. The dash lights and gauges did not come on but the truck started. put it in gear and it will not come off idle. does not rev up or do anything. What could this be? Thanks

 

You have no dash lights and no power to the gauges?

Check the fuses, sounds like one is blown, I am suprised it started.

Could be a pedle issue, but without the gauge lights...

yes the gauges do not work nor do the lights. The radio and overhead outdoor temp works. I have checked all fuses. None are blown. Truck starts up with no problem but will only idle. You can put the gas to the floor and all it does is idle. I had only been out of it for about 10 minutes and when i went to start it back it did all of this then. Never had a problem with it before.

 

i blew a fuse under the hood of my truck and it did the same thing... it was a big master supply fuse...
